10/13/05 - Happy Off-seasonGreetings Beers!!
Long time no update, but hey, it's never too late.
Anyway, first order of business is just that: business. As everyone knows, there were expenses during the season. I decided that rather than make things complicated every game and have people digging in their pockets and doing arithmetic, that I would instead make things even
more complicated by putting up all (most) of the money myself and waiting until now to ask for everyone else's share.
I've rounded (down) the total expenses to $2000 (see breakdown below) and divided that by the total # of plate appearances for the team (478) so we can figure it's $4 per PA (rounded down).
So... to find out your share, see how many plate appearances you have on the
stats page and multiply that by $4.

Next order of business is.....
THE FUTURE:
As the Yankees found out on Friday, it's never too early to start thinking about next year. So, head over to
this thread to reflect on this past season and discuss the future of The Beers. Let us know if you're down, any ideas on how we could improve, should we stick with this league or shop around, recruiting talent, etc, etc, etc....
Thanks everyone for a great season! See you soon!
