2007 Recruiting!
Ok, with the season coming soon, we need to scour the streets for talent. If you know anyone interested in playing, now is the time to bring it up to them. We definitely need a quality starting pitcher and a catcher. I think we could use some outfielders too. But nothing beats word-of-mouth... so ask your friends, neighboors, doormen (especially if they're Latin-American), etc...

Is your name Mike? If so, we have enough of you guys already. We tried to add more and it just doesn't work, and it's all because of your name. And as far as I know there has never been any good baseball player name either Mike or Michael in the history of the world.

Is your name Mike? no? It's Joe. Any replies to the craigslist ad? I saw the ad on craigslist and came over here to ask about playing. I e-mailed whoever put up the craigslist ad, but havent gotten a response.

Hey Joe, Yeah, sorry about the forums... I locked it down cause there were too many spam accounts. I activated yours manually. Just let me know the basics about you and your friends... age, position, experience, email addresses, etc... We will have some sort of tryout in the near future. The league is finalizing details such as schedule, fees, and stuff, so I'll let everyone know as soon as it's finalized. For those interested, what we found out at the meeting was that this year they have all top-notch fields. They said the worst one is probably College Point which has always been one of my favorites. We also found out the costs are going to be more expensive (as expected). There will be a big news update on the main site when those details are finalized.
