Beers Logo competition
...or not a competition, I dont know. Anyway, we don't really have an "official" logo. To see what I mean, check out the pictures on the NYCMBL's myspace page, http://www.myspace.com/nycmbl (scroll down a little). Or see the knights' logo: http://www.leaguelineup.com/nycmbl/images/Knights%20Baseball%20Logo%201.jpg . On the NYCMBL's myspace, when they go through each team's logo, ours is just a screenshot of the logo on the website which is kind of lame. So Mike D and I thought we needed an "official" logo if only for the NYCMBL's site. Here's one we cooked up:
We'd clean it up a bit before using it, but that's the gist of it. We also have one without the full infield that was the original one we tried (we added the full infield later):
We made both of these entirely from scratch in Photoshop, so be nice :D. Anyway, if you think you could do a better job, go for it. Maybe we'll have a prize for the winner or something, I dont know. I think the Beer logo we have should be used in any logo, as a general guideline, since that's what we already have on the website and on our hats and because it rocks (has that oldschool NES/SNES feel to it). Anything Brewer themed is probably out because there's a new team coming to NYCMBL called the Manhattan Brewers whose logo is a straight rip of the Milwaukee Brewers' logo(with Manhattan replacing Milwaukee).
So tell us what you think of these, give us suggestions, or post your own. If we like it maybe you'll get some beers as a prize or something.
