General Discussion 2007Let's commence, gentlemen.
I'll start by noting the fact that I have left 12 men on base, which is more than twice my nearest competitor.
My .250 fielding percentage is probably not helping either.. I'm going to do 4 hours of straight grounders tomorrow in the park to try to shake this case of the yips that I got... I'm also seeing a sports psychiatrist.
That "Most Horrible Loss of All Time" game a few weeks back to The Storm has lost the #1 ranking, thanks to the Baltimore Oreos 5/13. Bottom of the ninth, 5-0 lead, Red Sox last ups:
- J. Lugo grounded out to shortstop
- C. Crisp safe at first on catcher R. Hernandez's fielding error
- D. Baez relieved J. Guthrie
- D. Ortiz doubled to deep center, C. Crisp scored
- W. Pena singled to left, D. Ortiz to third
- C. Ray relieved D. Baez
- J.D. Drew walked, W. Pena to second
- K. Youkilis walked, D. Ortiz scored, W. Pena to third, J.D. Drew to second
- J. Varitek doubled to right center, J.D. Drew and W. Pena scored, K. Youkilis to third
- E. Hinske intentionally walked
- A. Cora grounded into fielder's choice, K. Youkilis out at home, J. Varitek to third, E. Hinske to second
- J. Lugo safe at first on pitcher C. Ray's fielding error, E. Hinske and J. Varitek scored, A. Cora to second
pictureMy 11 year old cousin drew this picture of me on Sunday...it is quite good no?

His true genius shows in how he has you picking your nose with the middle finger.
That's pretty awesome... I kinda want to have it woven into a blanket.
But to try to get back on topic..... Good games this weekend!
Rich pitched a gem and the defense and offense were vastly improved. Attitude improved too... we really believed we could/would/should win. Super!
