That's depressing. I'm glad I use maple bats, though I guess this would raise the price of all bats to some degree. And it could happen to maple some day. Terrible.

davi pitched the first game, we lost 5-0. justin and rich got lost on their way to the field so we had to play without them leaving us a little sparse. they had a good pitcher he struck out 6 to 8 of our first 10. they hit davi early he was far from invincible but he did keep us in the game but their pitcher kept us out. most of us played poorly of the people who usually aren't crappy.
second game we scored 3 but got mercied. they teed off on andres he gave up 9, then we brought in andrew, a different andrew and he did well, anything he gave up was errors i believe or error related. it was not a good experience but that team seems to win all their games now. next week we have 4 games and george wont be there and justin is hurt which means we are short a catcher. we may have to all take turns.
