Is there any way you could borrow one and let us try them out at a practice? They sound nice, but I don't think I'd be willing to buy such an expensive bat without getting a feel for it first. The 271 sounds cool. I like to imagine myself as a slap/line drive hitter.

I just bought a maple bat from http://barnstablebat.com/ .. hopefully it's pretty good. It's Model 72 7/8" handle 2 7/16" barrel Chad's bat was the best last year. I think someone finally broke it at the Clippers game.

I am going to order again from Viper...although they both broke, but I like that they have those $20 blemish bats, and a lot of other bats broke this week too. I was talking to MikeD about getting like 5 or more blemish bats for the team to use in practices...that way nobody breaks their nicer bats during the games. I emailed the company and they said they could give discounts on larger team orders, but he didn't say exactly how much off it would be. C'mon people read...I spent at least 6 minutes fine tuning my post If you want a blem its $20 for ash and $30 for maple, if you want a custom bat you have to go to the site and pick everything out, there are like 30 different models and you pick all the colors and all that crap MikeD...I assume you wanted a blem maple, if that's so they don't personalize them, if you wanted personalization you gotta pick out everything else too
