Pics from the games!
Mike D fields a routine ground ball.
In this picture, if you wear special Beers© 3-Dimensional Viewing Glasses, you can see Simon giving us the finger. In 3D.
Jay pitched a hell of a game, but was done in by a shaky defense and a couple of hard hit balls in the disastrous 6th inning.
Jay gets the called third strike.
Jay can also hit. He was 1/2 with a double, walk, stolen base and a run scored. Here he is I believe hitting a double.
Umpire doing some sort of bizarre dance.
Andy ponders a pitch thrown to him.
This time Andy takes action.
Nigel had a great day at the plate, leading off the game with a homerun and then going 1/3 with a double the rest of the way. I'm not sure which at bat this is.
Some Midnight Express guy takes a swing. Who cares? Who took this picture?
Simon makes a spectacular diving catch at second base while a fan looks on from the upper deck. Unfortunately he spoiled it by throwing the ball in the dirt (which Chris was unable to come up with), but later made up for it with a spectacular diving catch in left field, which I didn't get a picture of (damn!)
Some more pics of Jay pitching.
Another Midnight Express player. BORING.
Nigel makes some sort of play out in left field. Damn weak optical zoom.
Andrew had an excellent day in the field (in addition to hitting a bomb over the fence and into the side of somebody's van) and is seen here making a routine play.
Was he out? Safe?
Here are some player pictures for the soon to be updated "Meet the Beers!" page. If you're not on here I'll get you next week.

For the record, I didn't throw it away. I threw it in the dirt, which is marginally better since Chris could have come up with the scoop. |

| Good point. Chris's inability to scoop it up is now mentioned in parentheses. I'd say that transfers about 25% of the blame to him. |

| Dunno, that's your department. Along those same lines, please let us all know if Gumby is a virgin. |
